CareerNote is self-serve software. You can upload a PDF résumé, paste résumé text, or enter experiences manually. The software generates an editable draft portfolio from that input, and you review and edit it before exporting a PDF.

CareerNote does not provide consulting, coaching, résumé writing, or any other human-delivered service. No person at CareerNote writes or reviews your content.

The output is a draft. You are responsible for checking it for accuracy before you send it to anyone. CareerNote makes no representation about employment outcomes, interviews or offers.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, paste or enter and of the portfolio you export. You grant us only the license needed to process that content and deliver the service to you.

You confirm that you have the right to provide the content you upload, paste or enter, and that it is accurate and about you.

A portfolio costs $20 as a one-time purchase. This is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically.

You must accept these terms and our Refund Policy before payment is taken.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, described in full in our Refund Policy.

Do not upload, paste or enter content about someone other than yourself without their permission, provide unlawful material, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing son@careernote.io.

Deleting your account removes your stored profile, experiences and uploaded résumé from our systems within 30 days.

Your portfolios are kept for up to 120 days after you close your account, because a card payment can be disputed for that long after it is made, and are permanently deleted after that. We keep transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Portfolio PDFs you have already downloaded remain yours and are unaffected.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect, and the date above will change.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and its courts have jurisdiction. This does not remove protections you have under the consumer law of your own country of residence.
